First Look: Collecting Contemporary at the Asian

First Look is the Asian Art Museum’s first large-scale exhibition of contemporary work drawn exclusively from our collection. With pieces from Asia as well as the United States — including Bay Area favorites like Hung Liu, an exciting debut from Ahmed Mater, and large-scale paintings by Zhu Jinshi and Manuel Ocampo — there’s something for everybody. Come take a “first look” and see what speaks to you. Visit www.asianart.org/firstllook for details.
